  • ANNOUNCEMENT: The Human Resource Development master’s degree program is changing to a Human Resource Management master’s degree program effective fall 2008.

The human resource management major was designed to meet the growing demand for qualified human resource practitioners armed with the skills required in today’s rapidly changing workplace.  The major is consistent with the Society for Human Resource Management’s model of knowledge and skills needed for successful practice and certification.

Please bear with us as we begin the process of updating our website to reflect our new major.  In the meantime, if you would like information about the new HRM major and its curriculum, or would like an application, please contact Michelle Molter, Administrative Support Assistant, at mmolter@utk.edu or (865) 974-8092.
  • Dr. Lane Morris has been elected as the President-Elect of the Academy of Human Resource Development (AHRD).
